DAY 79. - 4places

" ... when she was away for 7 months I drew; I drew animals and I listened to music and I drew kisses in four places and I waited. And then I got a tattoo of it, and then I waited again... 7 months is ages..." ~ L.

DAY 78. - Protection

DAY 77. - The Line

" This is Becks' tattoo. You know how everything means something to me - spiritual signs, manifesting the life we want, meaningful connections, this is what I love. So when I first saw my girlfriend’s tattoo on her back I asked her 'what does it mean?’ and she says “nothing”.  She literally has a little rectangle box on her back that means nothing... 8 years later I am still getting my head around it " ~ Dee

DAY 76. - Fearless

" the Japanese symbols took me ages to get as I wanted to be sure they meant what they meant. As a tribute to my mum 'LOVE', 'BEAUTY' and 'FEARLESS' are a few words to describe her and what she's been through, from being a single mum raising three kids on her own to battling cancer. I salute her " ~ Chelsea

DAY 75. - Flames

" ... just had this done in Bali, 5hrs straight then I went outside and had a spew. I guess it relates to my love of hot rods, it matches the flames on my arm too. My daughter thinks it's seaweed on my leg... " ~ BDB

DAY 74. - OlderLady & a PackOfLesbians

" ...my mum got her tattoo because she loved mine. We called in to a few tattoo places along K rd. This gangster-looking guy - he had a swastika ring on - said he could do it. It wasn’t a very good job. That was back in the days when us lesbians all moved in large groups. We were all there to see this ‘older lady’ get her first tattoo... it felt so great until she started crying because of the pain, then it was a different story.  I felt dreadful and the swastika was looking at me in the eye. I learnt something that day; I don’t always have to push for things so hard. Anyway, mum LOVES it! One time I said “let’s go get it fixed up so the lines are more even”.  She said "No"... I didn’t push it..." ~ Dee

DAY 73. - Boston

" ...this is my Boston tattoo I got when my son turned 5, he's now 13. The kids love seeing their names on my arms, only trouble is where to put kid number 3's name... "~ Nathan

DAY 72. - Journeys

" I got my butterfly about two years ago. It represents me and my pathway from a child to everything I achieve in life. The butterfly is made up of koru, each representing a special person in my life who has helped me grow. The stars are my journeys to come. It hurt like hell! The colour rejected first time so I had a do-over the next week " ~ Chelsea
