DAY 21. - Tatau

" my brother visited New Zealand after 9 years in Scotland. He wanted to design a simple taulima, (arm band), to remember the visit by. Then he visited again but told me he didn't know when he was coming back so we decided to get a full arm sleeve. The patterns and designs more or less represent the link a tatau has from this Generation to our Ancestors " ~ Eddie

DAY 20. - Puff

" I decided when I turned 20 I'd get a tattoo. I walked in with my bestie as moral support and picked an image off the wall. Why the purple dragon blowing smoke? I like dragons, I like purple....and I liked Puff the magic dragon. Make of that what you will. The dragon has changed over the last 20 years...see that stretch mark over his nose? He got bigger so there are more! " ~ HJS

DAY 17. - for Camron

" This tattoo was in memory of my grandson who was born asleep. The wings symbolise the angel he is with and the cross for Christ who is looking after him. The scroll is for Camron, his name, but I've not had the courage to finish. Hopefully one day I will... " ~ Greg

DAY 16. - Delphinus delphis

" I got this as a 21st Birthday present to myself. I love dolphins and have swam with them often. My dolphin is now a little fatter than she used to be due to 25+ years of 'swimming'. It was done at the College Hill tattooists in Ponsonby. The under arm and very centre hurt like FUCK! The poor tattooist had to keep stopping but the end result he loved so much he took a polaroid and stuck it on the wall " ~ Jenni

DAY 15. - Peace, brother

At age 15 Ric's brother dragged him into a parlour and said "you're getting a tatt". It was the 60's so the choice was obvious - peace brother... Ric went on to join the army. The scar was acquired not from battle, but from a motorcycle accident. Ric's ride is a Harley.

DAY 13. - Taylor's Mum

" Taylor chose the pink carnation, the symbol of a mother’s undying love. The Oak - symbolic of strength - is wrapped around her as a baby. She chose the Lupine as we have lived at the beach her whole life and have spent many, many special and precious hours there. The Lupine is an emblem of imagination and a token of cheer and light-heartedness " ~ Kim

DAY 12. - Kokopelli

" He has a big story. But my story as to why I got him is simple. To cheer me up when I broke up from a relationship...
Kokopelli is a mythical man of the native americans. He claimed he could make rain with his flute, so he traveled around drought affected villages offering to bring rain. In return he wanted the right to fertilize as many woman as he felt like. That story appealed to me and cheered my broken heart " ~ MF

DAY 11. - Man City Man

" I had this tattoo the day I turned 18. This was my first love. I have traveled to see City play with my father and grandfather... these were some of my best childhood memories.
I don't love this team cause I was brought up to, I love this team because I want to. Everything about me screams Man City " ~VMJH
